Grand County has experienced an unusually low snow season, and the impacts are being felt across our entire community. From local businesses to hourly employees and families who rely on a strong winter economy, many are navigating financial uncertainty.
At the Grand Foundation and Mountain Family Center we want to remind our community we are here for support. These are exactly the moments community resources are meant for. Our workforce and families are the backbone of Grand County, and when challenges arise, we step forward together. The following resources are available to support Grand County residents:
If you need access to food:
Mountain Family Center – Hunger Relief Programs
Provides food assistance to individuals and families in need.
Cranmer Chapel Dinners
Free dinners on Fridays for seasonal employees and community members
Gravity Haus Dinners

If you are employed but your hours have been reduced and need help paying for housing:
Grand County Housing Assistance Fund

Winter Park Housing Assistance Fund
Offers housing assistance for eligible Winter Park residents facing economic strain.
If you have lost employment and are struggling to cover rent and utilities:
Mountain Family Center – Rent & Utilities Support

If you are struggling with your mental health:
Building Hope Grand (H.O.P.E. Fund Initiative)
An online resource hub connecting Grand County residents to local mental health providers, crisis services, and financial support for care.
Through Building Hope Grand, residents can access support — including coverage for an initial visit.
Grand County is resilient because of its people. These programs and resources exist for times like this to support the very individuals and families who keep our community strong.
If you or someone you know needs support, we encourage you to reach out. Asking for help is a sign of strength, and our community stands ready to support you.
