From COVID-19 to historic wildfires, 2020 was a challenge. But despite the challenges we faced, we were able to help the Grand County community find hope amidst adversity.

Through historic hardships, affected citizens were met with a wave of generosity made possible by collaboration among our community members and our nonprofit partnerships with these outstanding organizations:
Funds were provided to the Mountain Family Center to provide rental assistance, food bank supplies, and to purchase grocery gift cards for those displaced by the wildfires or affected by COVID.
Funds were provided to Mind Springs Health to provide counseling sessions and no-cost mental health services for those affected by the wildfires. As well as resources were given to Mind Springs during COVID times.
Funds were provided to the Middle Park Conservation District to purchase and distribute grass seed to homeowners in order to help rejuvenate areas damaged by the wildfires.

Mountain Parks Electric delivers safe, reliable, cost-effective, sustainable energy and services to better the lives of our members and communities. Their vision is to be the energy provider of choice and to support the communities they serve. Through 2020 they were a generous donor to the Small Business Emergency Assistance Fund set up for businesses in Grand and Jackson Counties affected by COVID. They are a vital contributor of the Grand Foundation and Grand County as a whole.
Fraser is located 70 miles west of Denver, in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. While the town is a favorite cold-weather playground for winter sport enthusiasts, there are endless activities and events to enjoy year-round. Through the unprecedented times of 2020, the Town of Fraser, supported hundreds of individuals and business by contributing to both the Emergency Assistance Fund for Individuals as well as the Small Business Emergency Assistance Fund that was established via the Grand Foundation. They should be commended for the advocacy of the Fraser Community.
