The end of the year is hectic for everybody. Holiday celebrations, family and friends, and, not to mention, everything else going on in our daily lives. Now is the perfect time to plan your year-end giving, especially with the likely change in tax reform for 2018.

Most people are familiar with the gift of cash or a planned charitable bequest, but did you know there are at least five ways to give? Not only can you make a charitable contribution in cash, but you may also gift marketable securities, real estate, life insurance or retirement account assets.

Because of the tax benefits currently provided by congress in 2017, you can give different kinds of assets, give them in different ways, and strategically plan to do more for Grand County. While helping yourself too! Don’t wait until the last minute.

A Big Thank You from the Grand Foundation!

Thanks to our supporters, the Grand Foundation raised $503,000 and Grand County Gives raised $696,000 on Colorado Gives Day!

All of the generous people who donated ensure year-around support for our local non-profits. Thank you! Colorado Gives Day received over 153,000 donations supporting 2,309 nonprofits for a total of $36,129,285 raised statewide. Thank you again to all who participated!
