A patient, Lisa, called our health center in hopes of scheduling her annual exam. Lisa knew she was overdue for her exam, but also knew she could not afford the cost of her care. While speaking to our Granby Health Center staff Lisa learned that through generous philanthropic support of the Grand Foundation she could receive the preventative care she needed at a subsidized cost. Affordable reproductive health care options ensure that people in need, like Lisa, are not forced to choose between receiving regular health care and other basic human needs such as housing or food.
