Info & Guidelines
The Recreation, Open Space, and Housing Fund (ROSH) supports non-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Granby, Colorado. This includes groups that provide programs or services in the areas of the recreation, open-space, housing and education.
Applicants must be tax exempt under the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) and 170 (b)(1)(A)(i.V.I.) of the Internal Revenue Code. Eligible organizations must also have a Charitable Solicitations Number and be in Good Standing with the Secretary of State. (This enables your organization to solicit charitable donations.)
ROSH funds specific projects and programs that have measurable results (ie, evidence of productivity, sustainability that have a lasting impact etc.)
General operating fund requests will be considered, however, the ROSH Fund is not in the practice of providing sustaining funds (ie. gen. ops. support year after year) to organizations.
The ROSH Fund appreciates and encourages collaborative agency grant requests.
The ROSH will make funding decisions following each grant cycle. If awarded funding, applicants will be notified as soon as granting decisions are finalized.
Organizations who have received funding in the past, must have met current final report deadlines, in order to be eligible for funding during this cycle.
Oral presentations are not required; however, the ROSH Fund Committee reserves the right to request one.
